Tribal Social Welfare Society

Y.B.N University, established in 2017 by the Tribal Social Welfare Society, is a pioneering private university based in Ranchi, Jharkhand. It was founded under the provisions of the Y.B.N University Act, 2017, passed by the Jharkhand State Legislature and recognized under section 2(f) of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956.

The university was born out of a commitment to expand access to higher education among tribal, rural, and marginalized communities. With a mission to uplift and empower, YBN University offers a broad spectrum of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs across disciplines like Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Nursing, Law, Pharmacy, Engineering, and more.
