DIRECTOR’S PROFILE

Dr. Kamal Kant Patra presently engaged himself as Director of IQAC at YBN University- Ranchi from 2021. Before this position, he served as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Botany & Environmental Sciences and Director- Extension & Collaboration- YBN University from 2020.

Being a Director of E&C, he was more specifically engaged in the collaboration target with different stakeholders, nationwide His career at different Research Institutes has involved versatile fields of Life Sciences with igniting scientific brains through meetings and personal interactions, inspiring proposals. His association with Research started after his previous engagement with the Defence Research and Development Organization and Ministry of Science & Technology as a Senior Research Advisor with high research impact. He started working towards transplanting his scientific acumen into academic roles with CSIR-NBRI-LKO and strengthened it with his Ph.D. in Botany from Magadh University-
