Dr. Priya Kumari is an Associate Professor in the Computer Science & Information Technology Area at YBN University, Ranchi. She holds a Ph.D. from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, where her doctoral dissertation on privacy-preserving machine learning in resource-constrained environments earned the Director’s Gold Medal.
She completed her M.Tech. from NIT Jamshedpur and B.Tech. from BIT Mesra, Ranchi. With over 12 years of teaching and research experience, Dr. Kumari has made significant contributions to the fields of machine learning, healthcare informatics, and natural language processing for Indian languages.
She has published extensively in IEEE, Springer, and Elsevier journals, and her work has been presented at leading international conferences. Beyond academic research, she is a regular contributor of op-eds on technology policy and digital India themes.
