On the occasion of the third death anniversary of Late Maa Kalawati Devi, the revered mother of the Hon’ble Chairman of YBN University, Shri Ramji Yadav, a heartfelt social welfare programme was organized at the YBN University campus by the Tribal Social Welfare Society. The programme was dedicated to the values of service, compassion, and humanity that Late Maa Kalawati Devi stood for throughout her life.
The primary objective of the initiative was to extend support, dignity, and essential facilities to elderly persons from remote and rural areas. As part of the programme, free blankets were distributed to senior citizens to provide relief from the winter cold, ensuring warmth and comfort during the harsh season.
In addition, a free health check-up camp was organized by Maa Kalawati Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital. Experienced doctors conducted general health examinations of the elderly and provided necessary medical advice, guidance, and counseling. The health camp played an important role in addressing basic health concerns and promoting preventive care among the beneficiaries.
The programme reflected a deep sense of service, empathy, and human sensitivity, creating a compassionate and respectful environment for the elderly participants. The beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the organizers and described the initiative as truly inspiring and meaningful.
This noble social initiative served as a true tribute to the memory of Late Maa Kalawati Devi, honoring her ideals of kindness, care, and selfless service. It also highlighted YBN University’s strong commitment to social responsibility and community welfare, reaffirming its dedication to serving society beyond the boundaries of academics.
